Launch of LLEN Asia-Pacific

The newly-formed LLEN Asia-Pacific was officially launched during the opening ceremony of the ISFC Congress in Hong Kong. Following an introduction to LLEN Global, Thu Ngo shared their vision to become an organization that fosters a vibrant, collaborative and innovative community of educators and researchers across the Asia-Pacific who use Functional Linguistics to empower teachers and learners, to improve literacy outcomes, and promote equitable access to quality education in diverse linguistic contexts.

ISFC a great success!

Congratulations to the organizing committee of the 51st  International Systemic Functional Congress for an inspiring conference filled with insightful presentations and engaging discussions. Sessions on the application of SFL in educational contexts were plentiful and thought-provoking, including several by LLEN members. Looking forward to meeting up again in Mexico next year!
