LLEN Launch at ISFC in Glasgow

After several months of building a community of teachers and researchers committed to promoting the central role of language in learning, the Language and Literacy Network has been officially launched at the International Systemic Functional Congress in Glasgow.

Following a presentation from the various LLEN working parties, Congress participants gathered in regional groups to discuss the possibility of forming similar networks, with the result that embryonic LLENs have now been proposed in Europe/Middle East, Scandinavia, North America, Latin America, and Asia & the Pacific.
