Inaugural meeting of LLEN global
Last week, representatives from newly-formed international LLENs met online to share their experiences, backgrounds and plans, described by Ruslana Westerlund as ‘really special to be together like that across continents’. Reports were presented from North America, Latin America, the Asia Pacific, Australia and Europe/the Middle East. The meeting was chaired by Claire Acevedo, who subsequently welcomed LLEN Global as ‘a significant achievement for all of us as it signals that Language and Literacy in Education Networks are now a global phenomenon!’.
