Functional grammar in picturebooks workshop

Teachers wishing to know more about teaching grammar in context - or perhaps needing some new ideas - can catch Libby Baker’s online workshop presented by ALEA on July 29th @ 4pm AEST.  Libby will explore the use of picturebooks as mentor texts to teach grammar in the primary school. The workshop will be hands-on, offering practical activities to support curriculum implementation in diverse classrooms. Libby is a LLEN member, a teacher librarian and teacher educator.  She is also the recipient of the Reading Australia 2025 fellowship. You can read more about her work here: libbybakerliteracy.com
